I’ve been invited along by Curlew Class to the launch of their book this Friday.
Last year I developed education resources for the North Pennines AONB Allen Valleys Landscape Partnership Scheme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. But instead of spending my time creating something Curlew Class were already working on, I supported the class with a cash donation, in lieu of my fee. With this they could afford to publish and distribute their book about their local lead and silver mining heritage, so more people will get to read it. I’m really looking forward to reading it too!
